In July 2019, the global crude steel output of 64 countries included in the World Steel Association statistics was 156.7 million tons, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year.
China's crude steel output in July 2019 was 85.2 million tons, up 5.0% year-on-year. India's crude steel output in July was 9.2 million tons, up 1.7% year-on-year. Japan's crude steel output in July was 8.4 million tons, down 0.4% year-on-year. South Korea's crude steel output in July was 6 million tons, down 2.1% year-on-year.
